Seniors Take a Spin Through Flushing (With Fans and Food!)

Seniors in High School Mandarin took a field trip to Flushing to explore the local Asian culture.
Their first stop was Flushing Town Hall, where they participated in a cultural experience class — a Tai Chi fan lesson. Though challenging at first, students quickly picked up the movements and performed the full routine with confidence.

Next, they headed to Tangram Mall for a scavenger hunt. Some students ordered boba tea in Mandarin, while others discovered new treats at an Asian bakery.

The trip concluded with a Chinese all-you-can-eat hot pot, where students enjoyed a wide variety of ingredients and flavorful soup bases. It was a fun, delicious, and culturally enriching day!
