Dalton's Senior team came in third with Alex Iriza taking first place by scoring a full six points above his closest competitor. His teammates Christina Hu and Gabriella Garbasz placed 9th and 11th respectively. Our Junior team had two individuals in top ten: Parker Zhao and Thomas Reeves, while our Sophomore/Freshman team placed second in the city, with only three points edging them out of first place. Congratulations to Sophomore Tom Bernstein who tied for third in the individual placements, freshman Fei-Tzin Lee who tied for seventh, and freshmen Nick Joseph and Russell Kaplan both tied for 13th place.

NYCIML is a non-profit organization that sponsors city-wide secondary school competitions in which teams of five or more students answer six problems requiring problem-solving skills and creativity. At Dalton, students interested in testing their math prowess enroll in the Math Team elective, which meets twice a week.
