Asian Cultures Club Holds 16th Banquet to Honor Teachers
Jim Zulakis, Communications Director
The students and advisors of the ACC (Asian Cultures Club) hosted their 16th Annual Banquet in Honor of Dalton Teachers on Friday, December 10, 2010.
This year, the banquet was held at Ichi Umi Restaurant, an all-you-can-eat buffet-style Japanese restaurant. The ACC changes venues each year to encourage members of the Dalton community to sample foods from diverse Asian cultures. The Japanese cuisine offered for this year's event was bountiful and the cozy restaurant was packed with happy faculty, families and students of all ages. In addition to the buffet, students of the ACC spoke and presented three evocative dances representing Japanese, Indian and Polynesian cultures. ACC is the only club whose membership includes students from both the Middle and High Schools.
