Dalton Students Named State Champions in Intermediate Debate Forum

On the weekend of April 9th Dalton's debate team competed in the New York State Championship Tournament with outstanding results.
The team of Alex Rawitz and Darshan Desai were named the state champions in intermediate public forum debate, which marks Dalton's first ever state championship. Additionally, in the overall competition, Dalton placed fourth in the state, and this was with only 5 Dalton teams competing. As a comparatively small team, this was a real accomplishment for the team, and it moves them up a notch in the rankings from last year's fifth-place finish.
