The Dalton Middle School Cross-Country team ran extremely well at the Collegiate Invitation at Van Cortland Park on Friday, October 28. Nearly all runners ran their fastest 1.5 mile times of the season and two runners received medals for their high rankings.
Eighth grader, Tyler Love was second place overall in the girls division, and seventh grader Maisie Fisher came in 7th. Huge efforts were made by Daniel Wing, who cut over a minute off of his fastest time, and by David Bellovin, who broke 13 minutes! Kai Victor shaved nine seconds off his previous personal record, and Caroline Silver's time was over a minute faster than her first time trial at the Central Park Reservoir! The Tigers looked great and finished strong. Congrats to all runners, and a big thanks to the High School Cross- Country team who came early to cheer us on!
