Dalton Tiger Team- Chess Champions Again!
The Dalton Tiger Chess Team placed first in three sections at the New York State Chess Championships in Saratoga Springs February 23-24.
We are now the state champions in K-1, Primary and Elementary. The children can be very proud of this amazing achievement. They had great support from our highly organized chess parents and our extraordinary coaching staff. Grandmaster Miron Sher, Women's Grandmaster Alla Grinfeld, Women's International Master Beatriz Marinello, FIDE Master Eugene Feldman, and Expert Nelson Dunn were brilliant and tireless in their analysis of games between rounds. All in all, a magnificent team effort.
