Where does food come from? Where does food go after it is grown? What is the difference between a Farmer's Market and a Supermarket? These are just a few of the questions the students in House 15 have been interested in knowing the answers to.
They invited Chef Kurt to their classroom to interview him, and they visited the AMNH to see the Our Global Kitchen Exhibit. They also visited and snacked their way through a wide variety of farms and green markets. They will be hosting their own Green Market on June, 5. You can look forward to homemade breads, homemade granola, vegetables, and herbs.
