Science Social Features Challenge to Make a Better NYC

The evening of the science social is a time to celebrate the hard work of the students in their 4th, 5th and 6th grade science classes.  Posters, drawings, dioramas and written work of the students fill the hallways and classrooms of the 3rd and 4th floor.  A highlight of the evening is the spread of electricity projects in the cafeteria, where crowds of family and friends peruse these amazing projects.
The projects focused on making a better New York for the future. The students presented and demonstrated their ideas, utilizing electrical motors, lights and other battery powered gadgets. Parents and teachers, asked focused questions, while congratulating the scientists on their achievements.

High School science students were also in attendance on the 4th floor and shared robotics demonstrations and shared their ongoing research projects with guests and the science labs were open to invite visitors in.
