Dodgeball night is always a blast for the 7th and 8th graders at Dalton. Dodgeball is a simple game, two teams, a few dodge-balls, and a gym. This year, a total of 17 teams entered this friendly competition so ordering 16 boxes of pizza seemed reasonable. Prizes were given for 1st place, 2nd place, and most spirited! Dodgeball night is a super exciting time, and you can always count on having a "ball", whether you are playing or not.
“Victorious” and “Las Dodgebalos Communistas de la Revolucion” were in the finals. Everyone came to watch and cheer for them. You could see the motivation in the players' eyes. They wanted to win, not for the prize, but for the pride. As the dodgeball was thrown from the last standing player on Las Dodgebalos Communistas de la Revolucion, someone from Victorious caught it without letting it fall to the ground. Victorious were proclaimed winners. During all this action in the gym, the dance room had ping-pong, pizza, soda, and more music.
