House 25 Performed a Native American Creation Myth

This year House 25 studied the lives and cultures of Native Americans throughout North America. They discovered that each tribe has a rich history and that their cultures are diverse. They also learned how important the natural world is to American Indians.
As a culminating activity, students performed in a play adapted from a Native American story. "The Earth On Turtle's Back"  from the Onondaga People is a myth on how life on earth began.
