Students in House 21 conducted job interviews with a member from each of the House 21 families. A social studies unit at heart, the project also offered the children practice with a range of skills, from reading and writing, to speaking, listening and thinking constructively. It was also great fun to get to know all of the H21 families a little bit better by learning about the work that people do. The first graders were pushed and stretched throughout the experience.
The first graders are now analyzing all of the data they collected. They will be doing a range of activities to show what they know from the interviews and to consolidate all of their newfound information. All of this will be on display at our H21 Job Fair on June 2!!
