Just ask the first graders what they know about Spain and they will tell you about the football teams, tapas, and flamenco, as well as the tradition of the Three Kings day. As a special treat, Dr. Carmen Campos, Middle School Spanish teacher, visited First Program this week to present a mini puppet show to the children.
The performance was all in Spanish and explained the history of the three kings as well as entertained the students as they interacted with the puppets. All the puppets were handmade by Dr. Campos who uses puppets regularly in her classes. The students really enjoyed the experience, they were engaged, entertained and in awe of all the puppets.
