Design Workshop: Toy Engineering Exhibition On Display at 89th Street
The students of Toy Engineering are exhibiting their process and work in the 89th Street Lobby Showcase until February 19.
The course, which delves into the nuances, processes and practices of designing toys for children, ran for the first time in the Fall and was co-taught by Mira Gelley (Visual Art), Michael Sloan Warren (Engineering), and Ben Light (Visiting faculty and designer from NYU ITP.) The exhibit highlights toy prototypes and shows the design process through photographs of the students' engineering notebooks.
