Dalton Science Olympiad Team Wins Top Honors

Congratulations to  the Dalton Science Olympiad team on their 5th place finish at the New York City Regional Science Olympiad Competition. This finish earned Dalton an invitation to the State Tournament. Dalton's three teams were led by captains Ella Tessier-Lavigne '16, Jake Multer '16, and Eleanor Seiler '17.
Sixty teams competed in 25 events in a variety of science and engineering specialties. Medals were awarded for 10th place and better. Twenty different students received medals in the following events:

This was a very strong showing given that Team A had only three seniors this year. The exceptionally high number of medals earned by sophomores and freshmen bodes well for the future.

Thank you also to the teachers who gave of their time to mentor students preparing for events.
