First Graders Help to Conserve the Earth's Resources

First Grade students purchased reusable shopping bags with funds raised from their First Grade Walk-a-thon. The entire first grade walked to Morton Williams Supermarket on Madison Avenue to deliver the bags that were given to shoppers at the store. The students understand that each time someone uses the bag instead of paper or plastic grocery bags, our Earth's resources are being conserved.
