5th Floor Cucumber Harvest Bound for the Pickle Barrel

Dalton students joined teachers Charlie Forster and Evie Harrison to pick cucumbers that were planted on the 5th-floor roof last spring by the High school Environmental Science class. The Environmental Science class planted many things on the roof as part of their Food Assignment. Join them as they plan to make pickles.
The Dalton version of this long, green-skinned fruit, originating in the Chinese Himalayan region, will be used to make pickles in a class led by Forster and Harrison after school on Friday, September 30, at 3:30 PM. If you are interested in attending the class on how to make pickles - please email cforester@dalton.org and eharrison@dalton.org.
