73 Dalton Students Earn National Latin Honors and Awards
Congratulations to all of Dalton's Latin students, grades 6-12, who took the National Latin Exam. The NLE, a multiple choice exam, tests entrants on vocabulary, syntax and translating skills as well as their knowledge of Roman geography, history, mythology, culture, and institutions.
Each year, over 130,000 Latin students worldwide sit for this exam. Of Dalton's participants, 73 students earned awards and honors!
Gold Summa Cum Laude award – 24 students
Silver Maxima Cum Laude award - 16 students
Magna Cum Laude – 15 students
Cum laude – 14 students
Certificate of Merit – 3 students
