Please review the ten days of expected street closures due to crane work during June, July, and August.
Following our neighborhood outreach meetings in February, we have completed final coordination with the NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) regarding expected street closures required for safety during crane work.
Anticipated street closures and crane work on 89th Street between Lexington and Park Avenue will take place over ten days this summer:
June 27, 28 or 29, 2017: A one-day full street closure with crane work taking place between 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM; one day falling within the dates noted.
July 5 - July 7, July 25 - July 27, August 8 - August 10, 2017: three-day full street closures with crane work taking place between 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM; nine days total.
When the street is completely closed, Dalton will have a minimum of six flag persons on the street 24-hours a day to facilitate emergency vehicular access and safe pedestrian passage. Dalton will also have security at all times during these periods. As weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances may influence the progress of work, dates and times may be subject to change as required by the NYC Department of Building (DOB) for safety.
Thank you in advance for your help and cooperation. We have a dedicated phone line, an email address, and a Community Resource web page to ensure productive, open communication with our neighbors.
