Varsity Volleyball's Season Comes to an End

The Tigers secured a spot in the NYSAIS Postseason Tournament despite a challenging season and competed against Spence at Sacred Heart this past Tuesday. Although the team lost 3-0, each set was extremely close with no more than a six-point lead by either side. Captains Lila Watts '18 and Olivia Loo '18 played amazing matches to finish up their last game as Dalton volleyball players. Loo played a smart match, hitting to open spots, while Watts crushed it from the back line with a sustained serving streak.

Watts had some words about their season, the players, and her hopes for next year. “This was an incredible season, and I feel so lucky to have played my senior year with these girls. Even though I'm sad to be leaving Dalton Volleyball, only three seniors are leaving, so I am confident next season these girls will be a strong presence in the league again.”
