Dalton Middle School Student Wins Scholastic Scope Magazine's Writing Contest
Stephen Vellucci, Class of '24, is a winner of the Scholastic Scope Magazine's Halifax writing contest. Stephen's winning essay discussed how the author, Sally M. Walker, helps others to understand what living through the Halifax explosion of 1917 was like.
This national contest gets thousands of entrants, so we are very proud of Stephen's accomplishment! This is the Dalton School's third winner this year. Click here to read Stephen's essay.
