Dalton Girl Scouts Donate Cookie Proceeds Plus to Notre Dame School
Dalton's resident Girls Scout Troop 3712 posed for this picture with Dalton World Languages Teacher Madame Viard to present her with a $4000 check donation to the Notre-Dame du Perpétuel Secours school, a needy school for girls located in Haiti, which Mme Viard and many at Dalton have supported over the years.
The girls also held a successful clothing drive, thanks to the generosity of the many Dalton families who participated. The first shipment of clothing is on its way to Haiti, and the rest will follow soon. (It was too much for one load!) The troop has also made over 100 friendship bracelets -- one for each student at Notre Dame.
