Allison Albino Named A Finalist in National Poetry Contest

Allison Albino's poetry collection, “My Mother's Prufrock” was a finalist for YesYes Books' 2019 Vinyl 45 Chapbook Contest.
Her manuscript finished in the top eight out of 400 submissions nationwide. In addition to the Vinyl 45 Chapbook Contest, Allison has also had three poems accepted for publication in the following journals: Homology Lit, Track//Four, and The Oxford Review of Books. This summer, Allison has been invited to work with Pulitzer Prize winning poet, Patricia Smith, at the Tin House Summer Writing Workshop at Reed College, as well as study with National Book Award Winner, Layli Long Soldier, at the DISQUIET International Literary Program in Lisbon, Portugal.
