Meet Our Newest Heads of School (For The Day)

Don't let their stature fool you — these Heads have big dreams.
This week, a First Program and Middle School student became "Heads of School for the Day" as the result of a raffle auction at Dalton's Centennial Spring Gala last April. To make the most of this momentous opportunity, the students followed a busy schedule meeting with various faculty and staff.

For their first order of business, the brother duo consulted with members of Dalton's Administrative Team on how to expand Dalton's budding puppeteer program.

“The students had terrific ideas,” commented Dalton’s Director of Advancement Emily Kasof. “If they would like to continue the discussion, they will always have a home in the Advancement Office.”

The two students visited classrooms, led a Q&A session with a High School House, huddled with Music Chair Chris Landriau, and conducted a very important meeting with Dining Services Director Leon Stallone to discuss adding candy to lunch menus.

The day concluded with an executive lunch with Jim Best who thanked them for their thoughtfulness, enthusiasm, and fresh ideas on how to best serve the Dalton community.
