The Dalton Women in STEM club (WiSTEM) hosted a Halloween-themed STEM event for Dalton Middle School students at Big Dalton.
Dalton’s WiSTEM club focuses on female empowerment and involvement in the STEM fields. The event, which was entirely female-run by club members, featured several STEM-based Halloween-themed activities, such as making mini monster robots, a pumpkin battery project, a fake blood sample activity, and a candy catapult activity.
At each station, students combined knowledge with fun to gain a better understanding of STEM and its applications. The WiSTEM club thanks all attendees and looks forward to hosting future events!
