Students helping prepare POD (Portable Object of Dignity) kits for Days for Girls. These reusable products can be sold at an affordable price point, and women can add components to the kits in the future. Because these kits last for years, this endeavor is highly beneficial both financially and environmentally. Some students made Valentine's Day cards for Meals on Wheels as part of its 4th Annual National Valentine's Day card-making initiative to benefit the homebound elderly living in New York City. Additionally, students learned to knit hats and make a positive impact on the lives of children in the NYC area.
