As part of their study on restaurants, Dalton First graders embarked on a virtual field trip to meet with Chef Dan Barber ’88.
Dan is the Executive Chef and Co-Owner of Blue Hill and has received multiple James Beard Awards, including “Best Chef: New York City” in 2006. On the field trip, Dan joined students in their Digital Dalton classroom to give a behind-the-scenes look at the Blue Hill kitchen as students asked insightful questions to learn more about his culinary career path.
