Dalton Math Team Takes First Place at New York Math League (NYML)
The Dalton School’s mathematics team completed their exceptional year by claiming first place honors in the Manhattan group at New York Math League’s (NYML) high school competition.
The Tigers earned the top spot by recording the highest cumulative score across the six contests this year.
“Each county has a winner, and I am so proud of our students for placing first in Manhattan,” said Dalton High School Mathematics Teacher Lisa Borenstein. “The region consisted of 13 extraordinary teams, including public and private schools. During this difficult school year, our students put forth a complete effort into their practice sessions, which resulted in strong results in competitions.”
