Dalton Model Congress Team Competes at Harvard and Columbia Conferences
In the weeks leading up to Spring Break, the Dalton Model Congress Team attended the virtual Harvard and Columbia Model Congress Conferences. Of the 29 Dalton team members who competed at Harvard's 36th annual event, an impressive 19 earned recognition. Eleven students won the prestigious Best Delegate Award, and eight others collected Honorable Mentions in their respective committees.
Led by Atticus Lee '21, Emily Saxl '21, Grace Chaikin '21, and Rebecca Wasserman '22, the team participated three weeks later in Columbia's virtual congressional simulation. Committee topics ranged from Foreign Affairs to the Coronavirus Task Force.
Ten members of the club won awards, including newcomers who had never attended an in-person event. The team enjoyed participating in both conferences and is eager to host the Dalton Model Congress Conference in May.
Congratulations to all of the hardworking delegates!
