Dalton Mock Trial Team Wins NYC Championship

For the first time in history, Dalton’s Mock Trial Team is New York City champions! Led by seniors Dylan Andres ’21 and Ines Chomnalez ’21, the team captured the city’s mock trial championship title on May 11 after topping the field of over 100 teams from the five boroughs.
The Tigers advanced past the first round for the first time ever and proceeded to defeat each opponent over the next seven rounds en route to the championship.
 
Next up for the Tigers is the New York State Finals, where they will compete against the state’s seven other regional championship teams. The state tournament begins on Monday, May 24, and those interested in cheering on the team can reach out to c21da@dalton.org or c21ic@dalton.org for details.
