Dalton Community Rallies in Support of Bronx Fire Relief Drive
In response to last week’s devastating apartment fire in the Bronx, Dalton’s Office of Community & Global Partnerships organized a support effort to contribute to the Bronx Fire Relief Drive.
In just two days, the School collected over 40 boxes of high-priority items – an outstanding feat, with huge thanks from the Bronx community.
The Office of Community & Global Partnerships extends a heartfelt thank you to those who were able to contribute to the Drive and a special thank you to parent Rubina DeCosta (Liam ’33) and to the PA Community Service Chair Alex Shuman (Nate '24, Ana '30) for their time devoted to multiple rounds of drop-offs to Bronx Community College.
Also, the Office could not have organized this collection without the assistance of the ever-hard working members of the Dalton Facilities Team, who helped manage the many boxes at all three collection locations.
