Fifth Grade Collaborates with Museum Program for the Ancient Mesopotamia Study
In collaboration with the fifth grade teachers, Dalton’s Museum Program organized a day-long series of events to bring the fifth-grade curriculum on ancient Mesopotamia to a close.
With help from staff at the University of Pennsylvania Museum and former New Lab staff member Dr. Paul Zimmerman, the students learned about the nature of archaeological excavations in Iraq and the development of the early stages city. They also wrote in cuneiform and made cylinder seals.
