6th Grade History Classes Visit Teaching Kitchen for Chinese Cooking Experience
Middle School Math Teacher Cory Cowles organized a fabulous Chinese cooking experience for the 6th Grade History classes this week in the 89th Street Teaching Kitchen.
In their introductory Assignment for the Ancient China Trimester, Margaret Trissel and Maggie Dobbins's classes studied geographic and climatic differences between Northern and Southern China.
Cory orchestrated an exploration of wheat and rice-based cuisines for the students to cook up and enjoy. Check out some of the photos from the delicious endeavor!
