Dalton HS Students Host Seventh Annual Bit by Bit Conference
Five Dalton High School students, Stella Anderson ‘22, Ciara Balanzá '23, Claudia Liu '23, Alyssa Shah ‘22, and Lily Wheeler '22, hosted the seventh annual Bit by Bit Conference, an event dedicated to breaking barriers for female-identifying students in technology and STEM, on Saturday, April 9.
The program included a keynote presentation and two panel conversations. Some of the distinguished speakers were IBM’s Chief Information Officer Kathryn Guarini; VP of Product and Analytics at Microsoft Ritcha Ranjan; CEO and Founder of Natural CyclesElina Berglund Scherwitzl, who was also part of the team that discovered the Higgs particle at the CERN.
