Behind the Scenes of SNL with Mikey Day P'30 at the HS Assembly

Dalton parent and Saturday Night Live cast member Mikey Day P'30 presented at this week’s High School Assembly, entertaining the students with a mix of satire and storytelling.
Mikey delivered a slideshow presentation with behind-the-scenes photos from SNL, providing the audience with a glimpse into the inner workings of the longstanding sketch comedy program. Throughout his hour-long visit, he offered insight into the improv comedy world, told stories about specific sketches, and detailed the show’s workflow.

In addition, the sixth-year cast member fielded questions from the students regarding memorable moments and celebrity interactions.

About Mikey Day
Mikey joined the cast of SNL in 2016 after three seasons as a writer. Some of his favorite sketches he’s written include: “David Pumpkins” with Tom Hanks, “Undercover Boss: Kylo Ren” with Adam Driver, and the Joker parody “Grouch” with David Harbour. Mikey also hosts the baking show Is It Cake? on Netflix and has acted in movies.
