"You Are What You Eat" Visits Hilltop Hanover Farm
Students in the senior elective "You Are What You Eat: A Critical Investigation into Food Production, Consumption, and Justice" traveled to Hilltop Hanover Farm in Yorktown Heights, NY, to tour the farm and engage directly in sustainable agriculture, to understand watershed management, and to explore the local food pathway.
Students harvested and prepared their own lunch consisting of tomatoes, fennel, radishes, kale, and other vegetables in a variety of preparations. Click here for the full photo album.
