Dalton Students and Families Partner with Carter Burden for a Day of Service
At the end of October, Dalton students and family members joined forces with the Carter Burden Network, an organization dedicated to enhancing the well-being of older adults in our community.
Throughout the morning and into the early afternoon, students and families had the chance to connect with seniors, building bridges across generations. The day began in the kitchen, where volunteers prepared around 150 snack-pack bags. From there, they moved to the dining hall, where they served approximately 170 hot meals along with the snack packs. It was a day filled with meaningful connections and shared smiles — a truly rewarding experience for everyone involved.
