7th Grade Spanish Visits the Teaching Kitchen to Prepare Frijoles Negros Cubanos
Last week, 7th grade Spanish students visited the Teaching Kitchen to connect their studies of the history and culture of Cuba with a culinary experience.
With the help of Chef Jaz, students prepared Cuban black beans with rice and learned some basic culinary skills while expanding their Spanish knowledge in a new context. They learned how to add flavor to the beans and tasted their creations. ¡Delicioso!
