The 18th annual Warren Hines night was another tremendous success with over 500 people in attendance to see Dalton square off against its rival Trinity.
The junior varsity boys and girls teams got the day started off with thrilling games. The boys fell in overtime to Trinity while the girls also fell just short of their West side rivals. The varsity girls team jumped out to a 9-3 lead early on, but couldn't overcome Trinity's tenacious defense and wound up losing despite a strong fourth quarter rally. The boys varsity team capped the night with a strong start; but they to succumbed to their rivals.
The varsity wrestling team secured the only victory on the day, competing in the fifth floor gym in front of a raucous crowd.
Over $1600 dollars were raised on the evening for the Warren Hines Scholarship fund.
