The 28th and 29th of November were filled with excitement and school spirit as members of the high school participated in Senior Sleepover and Ponderosa.
On the evening of Wednesday 28 November, members of the class
of 2008 took over the 87th street gym for the annual Senior Sleepover.
Outfitted in their finest pajamas and slippers, the seniors were up through the
night playing their favorite childhood games, watching movies, having
impromptu dance parties, and taking their turns with an inflatable
obstacle course, jousting set and moonbounce. In between games, everyone enjoyed a Mexican feast prepared by parents of the senior class and the Dalton Kitchen. After only a few hours of rest, sleepy seniors were woken for an early breakfast and headed over to 89th street.
Later in the afternoon, all high school students gathered outside in the chilly weather for a cookout and concert by members of the senior class. A little rain may have forced the show inside, but it did not dampen the enthusiasm and spirit of the students.
