While the overall outcomes on the scoreboard weren't to Dalton's advantage, there was high energy in the gym all evening long.

Dalton Varsity Wrestling fared well on the mat itself, splitting the 8 matches wrestled, but the forfeit points were too much to overcome against a powerful Trinity squad. The boys JV team had a thrilling 49-48 victory over Trinity. It was the lone win on the night. The girls JV team played hard but unfortunately fell to a sharp shooting Trinity team, 13-21. The girls varsity team rallied from a 6-point deficit in the final 40 seconds before falling in overtime. The boys varsity team fought back pulling within two points in the final minutes but it was not enough to hold off the Trinity tigers.

The results of the games do not highlight the success of the evening. A packed crowd of students, teachers and sports fans contributed to the Warren Hines Scholarship fund.
