Congratulations to the Dalton Model Congress team for its victory last weekend at the Yale Model Congress. At their toughest challenge of the year, Dalton's team of twenty-six students won an astounding 21 individual awards in addition to winning the Best Delegation Silver Plate.
Congratulations to heads Andrew Beaton, Kristian Bailey and Laura Speyer for their superb work in organizing and preparing the team for the event, and to all the team members: Adam Dunn, Brian Weidy, Cara Borenstein, Emily Weiss, Gaby Mayer, Grace Farley, Isaac Shapiro, Jonathan Furman, Liang Liang Feng, Lily Freedman, Malina Buturovic, Ming Ming Feng, Nicholas Dyja, Nick Barber, Nika Fehmiu, Parker Zhao, Sam Shapiro, Sarah Revesz, Sasha Dudding, Taylor Hemenway, Tom Bernstein, Tyler Wojak, and Xander Chase.
The team has won every conference it has attended for three years and is working hard to continue this streak into 2010, with Harvard and Rutgers Model Congress, and possibly one or two more conferences ahead. In addition, the team is working with 8th grade social studies students as they prepare for a Model Congress unit.
