The MS Tiger trackies had a wonderful day at the Gotham games competing against over 30 schools in the Metropolitan and AAIS divisions. The boys and girls qualified in 18 out of the 22 events which included the long jump, shotput, 80 meter hurdles, 300 meter hurdles, 200, 400, 800, mile,  4 x 100, and 4 x 400 relays. 13 of our Tiger Trackies secured 20 qualifying spots for the championship round at the Gotham Games out of a potential 88 spots.  Leading the way for the boys included Ben Ginzberg, qualifying in all 4 events including the long jump, 80 meter hurdles, 400, and 4 x 400 relay along with Henry Woods, 2 time qualifier in the mile and the 800 as well as anchoring the 4x400 team which also included Morris Reeves and Richard Chen.  The boys also had veteran Aleksander Kiprovski as a 2 time qualifier in the 80 and 300 meter hurdles, and making in the long jump this year along with Clay Grabaurd qualifying  in the shotput.  The girls also demonstrated experience with 2 time qualifier, Kheyana McKie in the shot put taking the bronze and qualifying in the 80 meter hurdles, Julia Rosenheim securing 4th in the 300 meter hurdles, silver in the 80 meter hurdles and silver in the 4x100 relay  along with Gracie Lawrence who also qualified for the long jump, Sunaina Danziger in the 200 meter, and Tarra Rana in the 300 meter hurdles. Chloe Goldstein qualified in the grueling 1500 and Alia Richardson finished strong in the 400 which rounds out this very talented group, A wonderful season and many more to follow!
