High School Spirit Day, traditionally held on the Wednesday before Homecoming weekend, tests the creativity and spirit of House advisors and advisees who are challenged to dress completely and creatively in their assigned color or pattern.
The ISAC (InterSchool Activities Committee) student members, supervised by Assistant High School Director for Student Activities, Kathleen McNary, chose the colors/patterns and assigned one to each House. Herrera/Hopkins House (not shown) all dressed in red prevailed as the winners. They earned a pizza party to be enjoyed during a coming Long House of their choice. Long House, which occurs on a monthly basis, encourages House advisees and advisors to build unity and spirit through various organized activities.
