The MS Library has been transformed into a Haunted House! Middle Schoolers have been visiting the library for scary stories all week. The stories have been read by MS Faculty and Librarians. On Halloween, the 8th grade will be sharing a story by Richard Matheson entitled "Cricket."
The Haunted House has become a traditional activity involving a broad range of devoted volunteers including High School students, New Lab staff and others. Middle School students come to the library for their classes to hear spooky stories during the week leading up to Halloween. Librarians Roxanne Feldman and Joseph Quain are the masterminds behind the installation and they are very resourceful. To create one effect, they use one of their library bar code scanners to project an eerie, red light on two ghoulish masks in a chair...ingenious!
