MS Community Service finished off their year of helping others with a MS Crazy Hat Day! The committee came up with a unique fundraising idea to help out a unique cause -- Caine's Arcade. All MS students were invited to participate in this fun fundraiser (the entry fee was $1) and the committee raised over $300.00. In addition to students, faculty and staff also participated. There were two winner for 3 categories (Most Entrepreneurial, Most Aesthetically Pleasing, and Most Creative) and one winner for Best Overall Hat -- Jasmine Young. Joey Velasquez from Building Services won for Best Faculty/Staff hat. FYI: the Community Service Committee is the oldest club in the Middle School. They meet Thursday mornings @ 7:30AM in Room 803, the advisors are Ms. Ford and Ms. Mingey, and they welcome all grades from 4-8.
