Warren Hines Night - 2013: A Fun-Filled, Spirited Success!
On February 1, Dalton High School fans, basketball teams and wrestling teams gathered once again in an atmosphere of incredible Dalton sprirt, to compete, celebrate and fund raise in memory of well-loved Warren Hines, a talented student and basketball player who died in the prime of his life while attending Dalton.
Paul Rogers, Warren's classmate and Dalton History teacher, spoke and recollected Warren's many special attributes saying that he was touched by the students' spirit as they wore Dalton blue shirts which proudly displayed Warren's name.
Dalton's basketball teams were mostly successful and hard fought against Trinity, especially the Boys Varsity team, which won big with a score of 47-29.
We are happy to report that the evening raised about $1500 for the Warren Hines Scholarship Fund.
