Sophomore Michael Won, and senior Leighton Braunstein, submitted research papers to the 2014 JSHS NYC Metro regional symposium. Both papers were evaluated using the national JSHS guidelines and recommended for the next phase of the symposium. The students will present a 12 minute seminar followed by a 6 minute question and answer session. The symposium will be at York College's campus on Sunday February 9, 2014.
The Junior Science and Humanities Symposia (JSHS) Program promotes original research and experimentation in the sciences, engineering, and mathematics at the high school level and publicly recognizes students for outstanding achievement.
