House 23 had many visitors come to their classroom to talk about Lunar New Year celebrations, customs and traditions. They were shown typical clothing worn by children their same age, they counted in Chinese, and learned all about making dumplings. The children were given an opportunity to fold dumplings themselves.
They learned about the Dragon Dance and how everyone is wished good luck, long life, and wisdom. House 23 thanks Ms.Yu and the moms for helping with the dumplings and providing so much information. Of course, one of the highlights of the morning was eating them.
