House 37 Skyped With a Viking From the Jorvik Centre

The students in House 37 completed excavating a Viking site. In order to help them with their research and gain insight about life during 10th century Viking-age life in York, they had a Skype session with a Viking from the Yorvik Viking Centre. Children learned first-hand about Viking houses, money, weapons, jobs, trade, and areas they conquered. Children had an opportunity to ask questions relating to their research.
