Fifth grade students visited the University of Pennsylvania Museum in Philadelphia for an exciting day of learning and hands-on activities. They concentrated on learning about the treasures and findings from Sir Leonard Woolley's discovery of the Royal Graves at Ur. The students had the opportunity to meet with experts in a variety of fields. This experience complemented their study of ancient Mesopotamia. The students explored the various ways we study history, from MRI scans of mummies to workshops on cuneiform, medicine, and magic.
